About & FAQ

Record shop by day. Live music venue by night. Raleigh's home for all things music featuring national and locally touring bands and an extensive vinyl record selection.

We love great music, great people, and great drinks at The Pour House Music Hall & Record Shop. We have been Raleigh’s home for live music since 1997 and are focused on bringing you an eclectic mixture of the best local and nationally touring bands. Our 30 drafts rotate monthly and feature an extensive selection of the best beer North Carolina has to offer.

In November 2019, The Pour House converted the second level of the venue into a record shop that features both new and used vinyl. The record shop is open 11am-6pm Thursday-Sunday. The record shop also features a full bar with 5 draft beers, and once covid restrictions lift, we will resume free live performances, album release parties, listening parties, record signings and more in the record shop.

+ When are you open?

The record shop is open Thursday-Sunday from 12-6pm. You can also order records online here.

Concerts are currently being booked on the weekends only and we will be adding additional dates as time moves on. Visit our concert calendar here to see what shows we have coming up.

+ What are your age restrictions?

All concerts are 21+ unless otherwise noted on the event page. People under the age of 21 can attend any performance when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A $5 surcharge will be charged at the door for any guests under the age of 21.

The record shop is open to all ages from 12am-6pm, Thursday-Saturday.

+ What order are the bands performing?

The first band listed on the event page is the headliner, who performs last. Any bands listed after the headliner are opening acts. The last band listed on an evening’s lineup will be the first band to take the stage. Typically opening bands perform between 30-60 minutes each.

+ Do you have a full bar?

We have two full bars! In the concert hall, we have 30 draft beers with a huge selection from North Carolina, full liquor selection and wine. In the record shop, we have a full bar with 5 draft beers.

+ Is there reserved seating?

With current covid restrictions, we are currently offering seated shows only, which are sold by the table. We have two top, three top and four top tables available for purchase.

All drink and band merchandise orders are placed from your table and will be brought to you.

We seat ticket holders on a first come first serve basis, starting at the stage, moving towards the back of the venue.

2 TOP TABLE

Reserved table for two people. Tables are sat on a first come first serve basis starting from the stage, moving towards the back of the venue. One of out two top tables is located along the drink railing downstairs with two bar stools. All other two top tables come with a high ball cocktail table and two bar stools.

3 TOP TABLE

Reserved table for three people. Tables are sat on a first come first serve basis starting from the stage, moving towards the back of the venue. One of our three top tables has three bar stools located at the downstairs bar, and one other three top table is located inside the band’s merchandise booth with three bar stools (which is pretty rad if you ask us!). All other three top tables come with one high ball cocktail table and three bar stools.

4 TOP TABLE

On the ground level, our four tops consist of seating for four at the bar and two additional four top tables that each come with two high ball tables and four bar stools.
